Pray for the Nations (day 10)

I couldn’t help but notice that today’s prayer; for the Congo, was different than the others. While the section for specific things to be aware of and pray from was rather full, there was not a section for answers to prayer.

My prayer for this country is that God, through his love, would renew the future of this land and these people. That despite their past being marked by evil and bloodshed, their future would be marked by forgiveness and life.

What a testimony to God’s power, and grace if the next hundred years of the Congo are restored… are redeemed. For it’s only by his grace that such healing and restoration can occur. God may it occur.

Today’s prayer country is Congo:

Population: 3,758,678

Largest religion: Christian

Percent Evangelical: 15.9%

  1. Tammy, it was new for me too. Not until I read Radical by David Platt, where towards the end of the book he mentions Operation World, had I known such a tool/resource existed. But now that I do, I have to pray.
