Pray for the Nations (day 19)

I was encouraged to pray for the continued growth in these “grassroots” efforts to enter into authentic relationship despite a history of organized religion that makes up Germany’s religious/spiritual heritage. I’m excited, for I know that when the walls of religion come down, there exists the space and freedom to truly experience life in Jesus Christ. Something, not only the peoples of Germany need, but the peoples of the entire world. In the midst of what seems to be continual negative news concerning the spiritual condition of Europe, it’s refreshing to hear of pockets of true revival happening across that land.

God, may the spiritual uprising that is taking place in Germany sweep from it’s boarders into the whole of Europe. May true relationship with you be found, and once found be clung to with with ever increasing passion. May the past history of Germany be rewritten by the spiritual renewal that is happening today; which will write their history for tomorrow.

 Today’s prayer country is Germany:

Population: 82,056,775

Largest religion: Christian

Percent Evangelical: 2.1%

As Mark 11:17 says: ‘Is it not written: ‘My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations’? Let’s continue to make the global house of God a house of prayer for all nations.
